Title: Deletion of threads
Post by: TightEnd on February 03, 2008, 12:14:47 AM
Despite warnings on the thread over a prolonged period, both the "same sex adoption" and "proud to be British" threads descended into flaming, personal attacks and an unwillingness by a number of people to respect the (in some cases) opposite opinions of other posters

Both threads have been removed from the public forums

if you gave people who raked more than £1K a month access to the mods forums you'd be bigger than Party in a few months imo

surely when a thread gets deleted the corresponding posts should be deleted from the posts count?

No one cares about post counts

and anyway, the thread still exists, just in my private collection  ;)

I was just being rhetorical.

I was just being pedantic. Pedantic, not Paedantic.

Pedantic on blonde, never.

I've fixed your post.  You missed a full stop at the end of your sentence.

Grammatically I also prefer

People on blonde are never pedantic.

to

Pedantic on blonde, never. (note the full stop)

but that's pedant semantics for you.

Of course, you're right.  I should have changed it to:

Pendantic on blonde, never?
or even
Pedantic on blonde? Never!

As his sentence was obviously a question, even if it was rhetorical.  I am now going to give myself 100 lashes as punishment for my error.  That'll learn me.

Does Blonde now have Sharia law?

Can we chop off the hands of those who ask for magazine freeroll passwords?
