Title: LHE over pair
Post by: jpean on February 06, 2008, 11:24:15 PM
Here is the hand report :

On a tight table, my stack has progressively grown from 3$ to 10$ with a tight play and some happy accident. Every time  I had a big hand (like flush) who loose against a lucky bigger one (like full) I have shown it, hopping my opponents yo undrestand I don't play/pay with marginal hands.

it happened that hand I did'nt know how to play against a new player at the table :

I think your beaten fairly often here and you have to fold.  Even if the better isn't ahead of you someone behind might be and you could end up putting in 2 or more big bets.  There are also a lot of cards on the river that could make your position even worse.  If you wanted to play the hand, raising and folding to a 3 bet probably best.  At least this drives out the drawing hands and you might get check/check on the river.
