Title: Re: Early Stages SnG Post by: AlexMartin on February 10, 2008, 09:20:26 AM His bet is clever as after you fire the second barrel in the early stages big aces are removed and your range consists of made hands most of the time. Hence the Ace is a bad card for you but a good one for him to bluff at. I call coz im a donk and dont think he value shoves 2 pair as much as he bluffs in this spot. Your check is perfect, you just forgot to call imo.
Title: Re: Early Stages SnG Post by: UpTheMariners on February 10, 2008, 05:25:57 PM my first thoughts were a10 but would he call a early position raise with that? he's running at 28/10 so maybe he would.

But so does a bunch of hands tbh. Lots of 10X hands, almost all of which jam this river when checked to. Case for blocker bet on river? Title: Re: Early Stages SnG Post by: UpTheMariners on February 10, 2008, 07:16:59 PM i did think about that but can i really afford a blocker bet with my stack size?
Title: Re: Early Stages SnG Post by: Longy on February 12, 2008, 12:03:00 AM Wp imo and the chance you are ahead by the river against anyone semi-comptent in sngs here is v v small.
