what are your thoughts here? i kinda think i'm beat before the river. ive got the guy down as a profitable player but he does seem to play a little looser than your average profitable sng player.

His bet is clever as after you fire the second barrel in the early stages big aces are removed and your range consists of made hands most of the time. Hence the Ace is a bad card for you but a good one for him to bluff at. I call coz im a donk and dont think he value shoves 2 pair as much as he bluffs in this spot. Your check is perfect, you just forgot to call imo.

my first thoughts were a10 but would he call a early position raise with that? he's running at 28/10 so maybe he would.

yeah, deffo fits the bill. But so does a bunch of hands tbh. Lots of 10X hands, almost all of which jam this river when checked to. Case for blocker bet on river?

Wp imo and the chance you are ahead by the river against anyone semi-comptent in sngs here is v v small.
