Title: Respect the Notes or Respect the Play?
Post by: jjandellis on February 10, 2008, 05:26:53 PM
OK, quite early in Million $39 Sat. A player I have sat with has been ribbing me telling the other players that I am down on his notes as 'a bulsh*tter that pushes in position - which I have no problem with as its quite untrue but I don't mind him telling others this...

Anyway this hand occurs, with a guy called Nicosia(or something like that) and I have him down as a player that calls down to the river with nothing (or a draw)...and this has already been witnessed in this tourney...

OK so I'm dealt KK early and the action to the river is as follows:

PokerStars Game #15193836641: Tournament #76070101, $36+$3 Hold'em No Limit - Level III (25/50) - 2008/02/10 - 12:03:16 (ET)

nicosina: raises 750 to 1500

I must admit I kinda took my eye of the game (football) just before my river bet and so it was quite a poor one in relation to my stack.

He has stuck me all in. I have seen him do this before with nothing or 2nd pair/top pair poor kicker. So what do you do...put him on trips and respect his play or go with past experience?????

I'll reveal the results in a bit...

What's happening here?  Are you asking what to do now that you have been raised?  You only started the hand with 1615 and have 185 left after the river bet.
