good idea i think, only wish rangers were in the prem.

tbh i wouldnt mind starting in the conference to get there, dont know if we would be allowed to get in at that level even, but revenue lost from conference to prem would surely be made up in one or two years in the prem, it is the place to be.

id say
1 season conference
1 season league 2
1 season league 1
1-3 seasons in th championship
then happy ever after in the prem

total sidetrack but the spl is mince i want out, total waste of rangers tm, celtic tm, old firm tm

then for your forgein games ...

rangers
celtic
manu
arsenal
liverpool
newcastle
chelski
everton
leeds
aston villa

versus the rest, mission accomplished

LOL

That'll be no whinging from you EPL folks when you've games in Bahrain/Dubai/Tokyo then?

FFS I hate defending Fergus but we've both pointed out how the EPL money would put Celtic and Rangers down that list. As long as you keep overspending on dross we'll not panic too much.

It is a good point Rod, all that has happened to the millions that has poured into the game is that transfer fees have gone thru the roof and most of the money is going abroad leaving the English game lower down the leagues suffering.

On the topic of Spurs they have paid some unreal fee's for players in the last 2 years.

The club still run at a profit. We are not Chelsea, we would not be able to survive running at a £100million loss per season. Hopefully, the new stadium will be announced in June, and building work will commence by the end of this year.

The club are looking at selling the land the current stadium resides on and purchasing the land directly above it. (industrial estate)

Read the report this morning - if Spurs can do that and build a bigger ground it'll probably be very good for them - It made a difference for Arsenal.

Is there any truth to the rumour that the building is really a guise so they can bury all the dodgy keepers they've had lately ?? Is that why it's a bigger site ??
