Post by: Claw75 on February 14, 2008, 05:36:08 PM www.bbc.co.uk/food you can search for recipes by name or ingredients etc. Should find everything you want there.
good luck! just read your post properly and realised you don't want recipes - doh! Title: Re: anybody know any good cooking websites ?? Post by: Claw75 on February 14, 2008, 05:37:27 PM If you're frying the steak make sure the pan is super hot before you put in in (grill pan is best). Only turn it once during cooking. 1-2 mins each side for rare 2-3 for medium rare, 4 for medium and 5-6 for well done (depending on thickness)

Title: Re: anybody know any good cooking websites ?? Post by: Claw75 on February 14, 2008, 05:41:09 PM if you've got a steamer that would be easiest for the veggies. bung the potatoes in for 30 mins, then stick the other veg on top for the last 10 mins.
Might just be me, but if you're having a nice fillet steak I think the pepper sauce might take away from the flavour a bit - maybe just serve it on the side. Alternatively, a bit of stilton melted on the top is fab :) I am hungry now...... Title: Re: anybody know any good cooking websites ?? Post by: BigTomatoes on February 14, 2008, 06:08:59 PM thanks a lot , i've got a steamer but its a microwave one so im not sure about cooking times and stuff , better off just boiling i think , might give it a go for the broccoli/cauliflower though cheers again ps , jennifer likes the pepper sauce idea i agree with you though might just have a little bit on the side :)up Title: Re: anybody know any good cooking websites ??
