Title: What a buzz :-) Post by: suzanne on February 15, 2008, 12:00:14 AM I had forgotten what it felt like to have that buzz when you feel totally in control of a table and you just KNOW that you are going to win.
Tonight I have laddered up and won a seat in the weekly final of laddies ELC with a seat into a £1k live event up for grabs. Im pretty much an underdog to win it but im just soooooooo chuffed to have got that far. I have never played a game with a $250 buyin before or anything even close to it ($25 is the most I think) so to say im brickin it is an under statement. Its actually quite a tricky little game to play. It averages around 14 runners so you start off with 6/7 players. I would usually play quite aggresive short handed but there are some mad scandies play in this who reraise massively everytime, one of my biggest faults is laying down hands too easily :-( You then have to adapt to a 10 table and thats when I either loose the chips I have gained or sit there like a muppet waiting for aces LOL. Whatever happens I will enjoy the experience. Thanks to all for the good luck wishes xxxx |
