We are running a mini league consisting of 2 events .. one Monday 18th Feb (TOMORROW) and one the following Monday 25th.

Both games are $30 buy in NLHE games and start at 8.30pm ...2000 starting chips and 12 min levels with blinds starting at 10/20.

blonde are ADDING a special prize to the mini league of a £300 buy in to a live event of the winners choice ... the winner will play for 70% of himself, and second will get 20% of the winners action, and 3rd will get 10%.

scoring for the 2 games is

winner       12 points
second       10
third            8
fourth          7
fifth             6
sixth            5
seventh       4
eighth         3
ninth           2
tenth          1

In the event of a tie for 1st place, the best comp placing over the 2 games will determine the winner ... in the event of a tie for second and 3rd, the % will be equally divided amongst the tied players.

As always each game carries its own prize pool which is obviously down to the amount of runners as to the amount, but with the added value of a LIVE tournament entry    , or a % in someones tournament action up for grabs I hope you will support this despite the relatively short notice ...

Obviously a fantstic bonus again Kev & Blonde, but how come the short notice?

I would have loved to play in this but I cant this week :-(

The short notice is due to the fact that the tornament request was delayed, although I had arranged the comp a while back, i dont like announcing until the comp is actually listed ... still with my spamming ...sorry ... promotional skills ;) I hope we can muster a good field for this.

I've registered for this. Just a bit annoyed because I wanted to play a satellite to the $2,000,000 comp which runs on the other ipoker skins at the same time but not on blonde? Annoying to say the least!

So, I decide to have a little look at a flop with 52o, y'know.

Flop is T55, but there are two clubs, so I want to play it quite fast.

Unfortunately I'm a distant third place at this point as Indestructable has K5 and MightySlim has TT.

First hand hit three sixes and win a nice pot
Second hand I have pocket kings and I am on the up
Third hand I have a full house 5's and kings but lose to full house tens and fives (which was flopped), I now only have 810 left.  ::)

I'm afraid that's the problem with a "league" consisting of only 2 events. For those of us who didn't get into the points last week there's no incentive to play tonight as it's impossible to win!

how ? winner of first comp has 12 points, winner of this one gets 12 points ... so the more runners we get the more chance of the points scorers from event 1 bombing out and a chance for someone else to get in.
