Title: Dexter Post by: sledge13 on February 19, 2008, 08:53:16 PM Just seen that "Dexter" is coming to Itv soon, happy its coming to a mainstream audience as its one of the best shows out there...a very original and exciting a show about a serial killer who works for Miami police. I've seen both seasons and cant see Itv showing it uncut (its a Hbo cable show) so advise that you download it to see it in its proper state.

Title: Re: Dexter Post by: sledge13 on December 16, 2008, 03:50:58 PM Ever forget about a thread you started? oh heres one...Season 3 was a bit patchy, the Miguel stuff was great but then the Skinner stuff in the last episode all seemed rushed and the tension had gone, hopefully season 4 there is more of a threat to Dexter, I have a feeling Debs will find out his secret like in the books.

Not only was it bad from a story perspective it just made absolutely no sense. It would have made some sense if the ending had just been him going into the storm but the last scene is amongst the worst in TV history.....

In the first 4 seasons you were always nervous/excited when Dexter was close to getting caught. The scene from S04E11 titled "Hello, Dexter Morgan" sent shivers down my spine at the end, it was so gripping. The storyline always had loopholes in it but the writing/directing/acting was so brilliantly executed that nobody cared. This final series had so many loopholes and loose ends that it leaves you feeling really disappointed. I think if they could go back they would have to re-think how Deb reacted when she caught Dexter, she turned into such a whiny bitch and her story was awful.
