Title: Lappy problem
Post by: RED-DOG on February 29, 2008, 12:46:10 AM
On my old lappy when I play on blondepoker and browse the forum, the poker table comes to the front when it's my turn to act.

On the new lappy the table mekes a "Ding" sound, but doesn't come to the front.

Any ideas?

In fact, the poker stays behind whatever else I'm doing.

It might be that your browser is being forced to the front.  Is there a setting for that within the browser?

I don't think so, even if I have a word document open the poker won't come to th front.

the only difference beaten this and the other computer is that I have installed the blonde poker software onto drive "D" (Flashcard) to save space on drive "C". But I can't see  that it matters.

Haven't a clue how to help you there, but will poke around my computer later today to see if I can find anything.

Best bet is to try re-installing it on the C drive then.

I suggest this mainly for the reinstall rather than the location. But who knows.

If you aren't saving hand histories on the PC then is won't take up much space. Maybe 30MB...

Is this an EeePC?

Nowadays it's used as a term for Canal boat watchers (A sort of poor man's trainspotter)

According to Wikipedia: "The word may have arisen from words in Lincolnshire dialect: gawn and gooze, both meaning to stare or gape"

Right! Loaded Laddies, and that does come to the top. So it seems like a setting within blondepoker... Yes?

My blondepoker has never popped up, other poker sites do, with the result of an occasional all-in misclick.
