Title: AQA
Post by: snoopy1239 on March 03, 2008, 05:38:18 PM
AQA (Any Question Answered) is a text service that, well... does exactly what it says on the tin.

However, I like a challenge and would love to stump them.

Can anyone think of a good, genuine question that would tie them in knots?

Happy to spend a few quid if anyone has any funny questions too.

Nice question.  Interested to hear their answer.

At the same time, ask them what they'd do in the same event if they have KK and are re-raised all-in first hand?

Ask them something that doesnt have an answer and see if they try and be clever or if they admit defeat, stuff like:

* Which progressive rock band famously had Al Gore on the Bass Guitar before he went into politics?
* Lenny Henry writes horror novels under which name?
* Ringo star was the first person in Europe to eat which flavoured crisps?

etc

An apple cut into four pieces has been quartered, an apple cut in two has been halved.
What is it when it has been cut into three pieces?

Doesn't have to be an apple btw, it's not a trick question.

Ask:

Why do we leave thousands of pounds worth of car on our drive, yet lock junk and cheap lawnmowers in our garage?

Why do supermarkets make sick people walk all the way to the back of the shop to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?

How can a pizza get to my house faster than an ambulance?

Why do banks leave both doors open yet chain the pens to the counters?

I tried this service once after a few sherries.......  I asked them which pub I should go to next.  Don't remember the reply exactly but they do have a sense of humour.

Can't work out how they do it.  I picture a few guys sitting in someone's living room with laptops - google at the ready - but I would imagine it's a bit more sophisticated than that...

Wow - quite a business they've got going on there!  Thanks for that Jane.

I'm especially liking this example question and answer:

Q. What tattoo has aimee got?
A. Aimee's tattoo is a Chinese symbol on her left leg. She believes that it means 'love' but it actually translates as 'supermarket.'

OK, I asked a free question.

Q: First hand of the WSOP Main Event.  You have KK and make a standard raise pre-flop.  You are re-raised all-in by an unknown player. Call or fold?

A: First hand of the WSOP Main event, if you are called all in on a KK pre-flop then you should fold as you don't have the nuts, wait for a better hand.

It nearly makes sense...

omg I swear this is totally unedited.

are any of the ladies on blondepoker worth having a pop at and which would be best in the sack?

Answer inside 2 minutes- The moderator "danafish" is a humorous member on the blonde poker forum. AQA feels she would be great in the sack, and so would be worth having a pop at.

 >:(. Obv if you had put single ladies the answer would have been different?  Dana is spoken for.  ;whistle;

ok done as requested and they warned me about the single ladies on blonde. Apparently one would try and stick a garden hose up my backside and another has a bigger set of meat and veg than me  ;gobsmacked;

I asked AQA whether i should back Brook No Arguement (3.15 @ Weth) or Tiger's Rocket (3.25 @ Southwell)

They said they both had a good chance but they would back Brook No Arguement.

I did. It won.

lol  it will probably hack up seeing as all his other bets got humped and he only had it in doubles and trebles with the losers
