4 people left 4 places pay

£25 +£25 single rebuy

4th pays £75
3rd pays £220
2nd pays £440
1st pays £740

118,000 chips in play blinds capped at 600/1200 for atleast another hour

On a chipcount i am worth £175, i am not taking less than £250. Although given its small amounts i would probably just play on.

amounts are irrelavant imo it not about my dads bigger than yours its about getting the best deal regardless of bankroll.

though agree with your figures  ;D

next hand UTG shove with A5

2nd night in a row 4th place after refusing deals

tuesday the chip leader asked for £500 when first place was only £495 it didnt even get as far as me saying how much i wanted before refusing

but someone who WATCHED both times thinks i was stupid refusing the deal over £20 and also refusing the night before

I wouldn't take less than £220 unless I had 10k and the other three all had around 60k each. Your chips are worth more than the big stacks.

Have I missed something in how you determine what your chips are worth in a chip count... or does one of us have the maths wrong?

£1475 prize money remaining

10k chips is 8.47% of 118k

8.47% of £1475 is £125

This would make £200 offered seem more reasonable to me.

Everyone gets 4th place first, then the remaining monies is split pro rata.

You pay everyone 4th place before you do the calculation.

8.5% of 1175 is approx 140

140 + 75 = 215

Chip count deals are always poor value for short stacks.

I wouldn't have dealt either Iron, I'd have wanted at least 3rd place money, prob £250. As the shorty, you need to get a decent deal regardless on the fairness on the chip counts.  If you double up once or twice, you're right back in it.

Just a warning that anyone making deals with Wardonkey should ask for his maths to be checked before they agree :-)

Fair point, well made.   :P

I wouldn't deal for £215 nevermind £175...

I just ran this thru an icm calculator assuming stacks of 10k, 20k, 30k, and 60k.  It came up with a payout of £256 for the 10k stack.

Intersting how ICM benefits the shortstacks, maybe someone should suggest using an ICM calc to DTD.

Not a bad guestimate then!

ok 9.9/10

To Longy, I suppose that if DtD uses some kind of simple chip count/prize money formula, the easy solution is never accept a deal when below average always accept if above.
