Title: Re: AQ, Small Blind begining of a tourney Post by: GlasgowBandit on March 10, 2008, 04:34:58 PM I wouldn't have bet as much on the flop tbh i'd have maybe bet 2/3 of the pot and make it look like a standard c-bet although not sure players take notice of this at this level and reevaluate on the turn. As played with what you have committed to the pot I think you really have to ship it and hope he doesn't have a K.
I take it this is a rebuy? Title: Re: AQ, Small Blind begining of a tourney Post by: jpean on March 10, 2008, 04:41:59 PM no freezeout
in fact, the guy had one of the only hand I didn't want to see : Ad Kd was it really possible to avoid that beat ? Title: Re: AQ, Small Blind begining of a tourney Post by: TheChipPrince on March 10, 2008, 04:51:46 PM At this level the AK of diamonds will rarely fold that flop with the flush draw. So once that flop comes the hand plays itself. I would push the turn, if has hit the K, just unlucky...

Agreed and to be fair..at any level you hardly fold the AK of diamonds on this flop ;) Title: Re: AQ, Small Blind begining of a tourney Post by: I KNOW IT on March 10, 2008, 05:02:48 PM At this level the AK of diamonds will rarely fold that flop with the flush draw.
