I see this so often at these stakes but i still don't really know how to deal with it or what it means. Villains call down bets on flop and turn and then overbet push after my check on the river. Villain has just joined table so no stats on him.

Is this a weak fold? What can i be beating here?

Normally its the nuts or pretty close to it. Make a note if they keep doing then we can assume that its a wider range. 9's is an easy pass here first time.
