Apparently I've torn the ligament but not all the way through. Have to stand on one leg to make sure the balance sensory things in the ankle grow back and I don't do it again. It will be easy to see coz if I steeped off a curb wrong, it would just go and I'd be in fuck loads of pain. But then you will reach a stage where you find your ankle bounces back for you and is strong enough again. I did it in rugby in the lineout, but i strapped it up good and proper and played the next week, Trouble came on the sunday after a superbowl party walking home in the morning and did it again on some roadworks. Football in theory should be ok after 4 weeks, you just don't want to be making big ground impacts so avoid aerobics lol. sprained my ankle six weeks ago thought it would be well recovered by now, however attempted to play last night and it was so weak and didn't take long before i hobbled off again.
