Title: Should I have slowed down a bit? Post by: deputydawg on March 26, 2008, 10:09:35 AM Generally running bad at present and today's first game this happens first hand. Should I really have been worried about the only possible hand he could have that was likely to be beating me i.e. 55

Post by: Longy on March 26, 2008, 10:18:10 AM If anything I think preflop raise is too big(better than too small) but at this level it often achieves what we desire with kk a heads up pot.
Post flop is fine and there is no way im passing this in a month of Sundays. Might want to edit the raise to 200 preflop thing if you are keen on protecting you stars screenname. Title: Re: Should I have slowed down a bit? Post by: deputydawg on March 26, 2008, 10:30:35 AM cheers, I only change to make easier reading but have amended it. The raise to 200 was due to 2 ep limpers and I have no doubt a raise to 100 would have ended in a 5/6 way pot (though may have been easier to get away from post flop)
Yhink I'm just on one of those pesky downswings that cost me c.$500 yesterday. Perhaps I'll go back to bed Title: Re: Should I have slowed down a bit? Post by: AlexMartin on March 26, 2008, 12:45:18 PM Played perfectly, i like the preflop raise.
