Anyone watching it?

Already I know who in the guys team that I want fired, but unfortunately, like every year the 2 or three folk that you want fired always manage to stick it out to the end.

It seems there are two groups in the guys team there are 4 boys come across as being manly lads and the other 4 come across as very effeminate.

So who don't we like?

This season looks good, toffs vs working class made good. Always compelling viewing.

If you like this then you should download the American version, the celebrity special thats just ending has been quality season.

 Great show......you really cant believe how two teams of 8, of the so called "cream of the crop", rotflmfao cant organise the labelling and pricing of a load of fish, to produce a reasonable profit.

Aye why didn't they just spend 1hr before selling the fish to price them up, get organized and consult existing fish tradesman..

Exactly.....and given that pricing is so important, why not put 2 people on it, to double check/ help/confer.......£5 a lobster FFS !!

I think this was more of a common sense task, and both teams IMO failed miserably.  Really can't be hard to get a decent mark-up on fish bought at wholesale prices.  The idea of checking what the other traders were selling at was good, but gettin lbs confused with kilo is bad, bad, bad!!

I was on the bbc website checking out the candidates profiles and one guy even claims to have got Harry Redknapp fired at West Ham - don't suppose that will go down well with Sugar they are old mates.

Just watched it tonight, what a load of plonkers. I can see great things for these guys.

Yes and they highlight just how much better you could do with a smigen of common sense. It is fun to see them try to stab each other in the back though, particularly the worse ones trying to make themselves look better and end up failing miserably. The guy with the ulta bouncy side shed (will be a comb over by the time he's 50) is going to be so annoying and I'm looking forward to him getting booted off the show :)

I think Sir Alan has been watching Spurs play too much and it has gone to his head, what a bad decision that was.  >:(

Yeh was watching this too. The woman that went was absolutely robbed imo. Team leader shud have gone defo, she had no idea.

i only watched a few episodes of the earlier series and I think this only goes to highlight what a big load of bollox C.V.s are. It's also no wonder most companies are completely mismanaged if it's monkeys that go on shows like this that get recruited into them.
Let's just say I don't watch it anymore...and I think 90% of the people who go on this show should be culled as the world would be better off without them.

gobsmacked that team leader didn't go.  How patronising was she in the way she spoke to (and about) the others.  I have a feeling that if Alan Sugar had seen the same footage we saw before making his decision she'd have been out on her arse in a shot.

If the team leader tried to talk to me the way she talked to her colleague in the taxi, I don't think I could have stopped myself knocking her out ;nemesis;  That was clear clutching at straws and bullying behaviour that I hope people would be sacked for. Sugar isn't daft and I don't think the TL will last long....hopefully. He might be saving a special exit for her, after all she makes 'good telly'.......The other team leader was a lot better this week but having said that he really didnt have anything to challenge his thinking although he did maintain good team relations.

I think chef has to go, for no other reason than that fecking accent he has.  The TL I feel kinda sorry for becuase he was shipped into the position maybe he would have grown into the position.

They're so lolable. Most of them are just tossers.  Why they feel the need to give a speech at the start of each task is beyond me and this weeks was just so pathetic "I'd like to just go round the table and get everyones commitment"  wft!!

Laughed so hard at the "Head Chef" creating the menu and the kitchen hand was almost pissing himself, then later on he whimpered "cos I'm the chef and that's what chefs do"

There's only 2 or 3 I'd want working for me in that lot, where does he get them from?

Why was it the chefs and Army bloke Simon's fault?! why did he take them into the boardroom. Spending nearly £300 on marketing?! was a huge mistake, the team leader should have told them to buy wholesale and let the chef just deal with food.

The Chef and Simon were taken in because the TL was working with them, it's the only reason I think.  The chef was  a tool though, he did deserve some blame imo.  Simon shouldn't have been there but then who should?   The TL didn't know who else to take in because he didn't know who was doing what.

Just watched it from last night.

Right person got fired, Simon shudn't have been there, he was the only one that gave a S**T about the costs of everything. Obviously as soon as Kevin was appointed Chef, if they lost it wud be him and one other for the chop.

Maybe the guy that decided to put the costs of stuff down coulda been in there instead of Simon imo.

He is a tool! but who is going to pay £4.95 for a bowl of soup in a pub? I think reducing the cost was a good idea.

I like the singles card, and think it would work on the 13th February. Any other time and it loses it's "up yours to Valentine's day" edge.

Like the singles cards, I think the only reason the last buyer bought 19,500 of them was because the scruffy guy said that he was receptive to ideas on the date to use and they would be happy to work along side the card shop to decide a date - clever bits of waffle I thought.

UKTV Gold 2 (or Dave) repeated the original series a few months back. They'll probably have plans to show Series 2 at some point soon.

It really is alot better watching the USA versions, worth downloading them from torrent sites, the latest Celeb one was amazing, people thrown off, backstabing, arguments..

Michael reminds me a bit of whatshisface that one the last series - he should have gone after the TV shopping task, but Sir Alan obviously saw something in him.  Perhaps similar with Michael?

Its the interviews tonight, with the interviewers from hell. There's always some cringing moments in this. It should sort out the lightweights.

The whole program is cringe for me - I have to watch it on iplayer so I can pause and go back to it after the cringing has stopped!

Tonights episode is going to be immense. The interview episodes are always brilliant, they get ripped to pieces by the interviewers. In last season, Paul i think his name was, got absolutely destroyed by them all - quality entertainment.

Just watched previews on bbc website, going to be good tonight. Lee's CV is full of spelling errors and gets slaughtered.

No doubt that was the plan/drama to have a final of two pairs.

The trailer showed he puts Alex and Claire in opposite teams ,..... so he gets the option of one of those two in the end, IMO.

She must have given some cracking interviews, all four tough cookie interviewers were passionately fighting her case with Sir Alan in the boardroom, and I think that's the only reason why she survived.

I'm a bit dissapointed that there is going to be four in the final tbh, it's like having the main event at Wrestlemania some kind of tag-team bollox, doesn't settle anything.

paul kemsley one of sugars interviewers was the big fish/donator in the full tilt million dollar cash game shown on t.v last year and all over the internet. He lost loads.

I can't say I liked any of them.........certainly wouldn't want to work in an environment where the primary motivator is naked ambition and self promotion.......... Having said that it was fascinating TV and Lee was probably the best team player

Hi, I don't think I have posted on this forum before but regularly check in and read posts.  Members may recognise me as Panzer on Sky Poker and I am HoldorFold's Mum!

I have really enjoyed this year's Apprentice and really wanted Lucinda to win, I think her zany way would really have brightened up Sir Alan's businesses!  I hoped Claire would have won out of the final four, she has all the attributes a Company would need (including her mouthiness).  The reason I was disappointed that Lee won is he has no integrity!  He lied on his application form, he may be dyslexic but he could have used a spellchecker, therefore, he was not thorough and checked through his application properly before submitting. He also brown nosed Sir Alan saying he is a Spurs supporter!!  I know a lot of women thought him fanciable but to me he always looked a mess. I am sorry but I think Sir Alan made a mistake this time.

I don't know y Lucinda even applied. She already earns more than the job was offering.

Obv she thought she might get some TV work from it. lol.

Bit surprised by some of the negative press I have been reading about his win. Stuff like it shows society that it is better to be a liar (CV) than work hard and get a degree (like other candidates).
I am sure this is nothing to do with the number of graduates in the media.  ;whistle;
