Title: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: The Absentee on March 27, 2008, 05:21:10 PM Hi all
Anyone know if there's any coverage of this event? Keen to follow the progress of my Kiwi mate James Honeybone. Cheers Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: TightEnd on March 27, 2008, 05:32:21 PM when and where is it?

Website says there'll be live reporting but as is often the case with these things, doesn't seem to be up and running...

Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: londonpokergirl on March 28, 2008, 05:43:00 PM when and where is it? not the Norwegian poker champs at DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/index.php?affiliate=blonde) is it? if not, no we aren't covering it I'll be covering Norwegian Championships at DTD for the magazine, expected about 400 Norwegians will be privately flown across from Oslo to Nottingham for the event, not sure yet if it will be live reporting or just major updates Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: TightEnd on March 28, 2008, 05:44:25 PM blonde are live updating it
Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: DaveShoelace on March 28, 2008, 07:18:24 PM Presumbaly just open to Norwegian players?
Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: TightEnd on March 28, 2008, 07:21:03 PM Presumbaly just open to Norwegian players? imagine so Floppy is in touch with the organisers if you need to know Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: tikay on March 28, 2008, 07:25:39 PM Presumbaly just open to Norwegian players? Not exactly. I believe a smlll proportion of Seats may be available to non-Norweigans, possibly 100 or so. It's gonna be capacity stuff, 500+, & the thinking, I believe, is that the Norweigans may "only" take 450. Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: DaveShoelace on March 28, 2008, 07:28:11 PM The schedule looks really good, be a shame if no brits were allowed in.
I wonder if Annette will be making the trip over Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: Dewi_cool on March 28, 2008, 07:37:46 PM The schedule looks really good, be a shame if no brits were allowed in. I wonder if Annette will be making the trip over ask Horneris Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: NoflopsHomer on March 28, 2008, 07:59:51 PM Capacity is meant to be 560. Though I think the Norwegians will sell around 400 of these, maybe more, maybe less. I think Nick or Simon would be better placed to give you more information than I can.
Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: tikay on March 28, 2008, 08:01:27 PM I just remembered that DTD told me they WOULD, come what may, be running at least one DTD-based, Live Super-Sat to this Event. Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: Karabiner on March 29, 2008, 12:03:39 PM On another forum it states that the capacity for each of the two days one will be 330.
If that figure is correct there will be plenty of spaces. Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: londonpokergirl on March 29, 2008, 05:31:31 PM Presumbaly just open to Norwegian players? Well there will be some seats open but don't think it will be that many Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: celtic on March 29, 2008, 05:37:49 PM err why r the nordic masters being held in nottingham?
Title: Re: Nordic Masters coverage Post by: Karabiner on March 29, 2008, 05:41:58 PM err why r the nordic masters being held in nottingham? It isn't. The Norwegian open will be though, as poker is not allowed to played live in Norway. Also had Soren Kongsgaard at his table.
He and fellow Kiwi Richard Grace are playing in San Remo next I believe ... |
