Title: Awake Post by: suzanne on March 27, 2008, 10:37:25 PM Was watching morning telly when they were talking about this film which is about a guy who is "awake" during an operation. They reckon 1 in 700 experience this but also that the numbers could be a lot higher.
It happened to me about 14 years ago and the hospital was very quick to apologise at my bedside but at the time I was just glad to be alive. Im pretty sure it didnt go on record so im now wondering just how much higher the numbers are. Who else has been awake during an op? Been waiting a while, originally saw trailers for this about 3/4 months ago and been wanting to see it since.

It was going to get a 4/10, but she saved it slightly. Hayden Christiansan is better than he was in Star Wars and gives a decent performance.

I'll watch just cause of Jessica Alba (stole my heart in my earlier years with Dark Angel), plot sounds familar to a few films and I'm hoping there isn't a obvious twist at the end. Although a 2007 film, Bone Dry with Luke Goss was very good. Recommend it.
