Title: I NEED HELP!!!! Post by: Joobie538 on March 28, 2008, 10:54:11 AM ok,
anyone that's met me will know that yes I do need professional help!!! - But that's not the kind of help I'm talking about! Some of you may be aware that i was until recently being tutored by Snatiramas! Well he as abandoned me!! apparently there is nothing more he can do! - I'm too much of a liability, he can't take my jabbering on anymore! And has left me to fend for myself!! - can't see what he's complaining about personally!?!? So i really need you're help to find a new tutor willing to take on the challenge!! Let me know if you can help, my poker future depends on it! Julie x Title: Re: I NEED HELP!!!! Post by: Colchester Kev on March 28, 2008, 10:56:10 AM I dont know whats worse ...

Post by: Snatiramas on March 28, 2008, 11:54:08 AM Okay i had better come clean and this is not going to be a short post.....
To set the scene. This year is Adams barmitzvah. Because of the series of functions that I want to have, to celebrate this event it is going to cost a very large amount of money(take a number and double it). No getting away from that and it is my and Mrs. Snats choice. I changed jobs six months ago and currently I am really enjoying my new position. Now to the poker. Recently I have found myself not enjoying the game or my reaction to the game nearly as much. What was once new and exciting had become a little boring and time consuming. Also of late I found the game intruding into my job and my behaviour with my family not as it should be. When you find yourself analysing things like this then you know you need a change. So I have decided to have a nice long sabbatical away from the game. I just can't sit down at the table worrying about having a long losing run and thinking what I could have done with the money, or worrying about getting up the following morning and making mistakes that could cost my company a lot of money. Also I am much calmer when I am away from the game. So the plan is this. I have one sunday warm up ticket on stars that i will play at some point. I will go to BB6. I will go to Tramore. After that you will not see me at a live tournament or online for probably quite a while. Never say never as they say. I have in the last five years done some amazing things due to poker, a cruise, TV,the bahamas,TV, the WSOP,TV,festival finishes,TV, the Irish open and of course TV but most of all I have met some truly amazing people. I intend to be on the forum from time to time because most of those people are on here but not talking about the game. So Joobie needs a new mentor.....good company that Joobie. I wish you all luck at the table Snat Title: Re: I NEED HELP!!!! Post by: Graham C on March 28, 2008, 12:03:31 PM All the best Snat. I enjoy your sense of humour, hope you do decide to stick around the boards :)
Good luck with the break Title: Re: I NEED HELP!!!! Post by: tikay on March 28, 2008, 12:14:18 PM A great Post by The Snat, whose sparkling wit & sparklingyer shoes will be much missed. But a brave decision - poker is so addictive, & most of us are in denial. Title: Re: I NEED HELP!!!! Post by: Laxie on March 28, 2008, 12:15:19 PM So glad you're still going to the bash before you take the break and please don't disappear altogether. You're a pure sweetheart of a lad. Timothy and I wish you and yours all the best.
