If you get a deal cheaper for a 4 star hotel via the 'Top Secret' hotels than you can elsewhere then you should definitely take it. But take note of the actual discount they're giving, because if it's only 10 or 20%, for example, then there might be a better offer elsewhere - even from the hotel direct if they give an internet discount on their own sites. Also you can often find out specifically which hotel it is as well if you google parts of the description, the 4 star Thistles in London are often there. Straight after booking I checked the site to see how much they offered the same hotel for as named accommodation - it was £5 a night cheaper than the top secret deal! I contacted them straight away as they have some sort of price match promise thing, but they said it only applied to offers on other websites.
What I would do is, once you've found the top secret hotel you like the look of, work out which it is (not too difficult usually), then have a quick shop around just to check that it is the best deal.
