Title: post flop decision Post by: amcgrath1uk on April 02, 2008, 10:39:43 PM $5 mtt, blinds 800/1600 and on the button with 8c 8h. All folded to me so raise to 4800. ( I have 20k)
BB insta calls. ( has 25k) flop is 4s 5s 8d BB insta goes all in. He obv covers me. I insta call. before I post the results.. good or bad call? Also looking back through the history, he's made the same move 3 times uncontested. Does that influence any decision? He could quite easily have called preflop with 2 spades, or even 76.. would any of this run through your mind. bearing in mind we both had decent sized stacks too Title: Re: post flop decision Post by: Longy on April 03, 2008, 01:22:29 AM Sigh, even my patience is wearing thin.

Part 3; size doesn't matter..it's how you use it that counts. (I have been told this many a time) Part 4; sigh...i'm off the strangle a kitten now as I need to be polite on the forum :) Title: Re: post flop decision Post by: tantrum on April 03, 2008, 03:38:00 PM if someone goes all in - you should always fold, besides what are you doing raising with 88 preflop in the first place? only AA so late in the tourney.....

P.S. I passed AA on an A22 flop last night, put him on pocket 2's... Title: Re: post flop decision Post by: tantrum on April 03, 2008, 04:14:03 PM P.S.
