Title: Mcready levels? APAT? Post by: 12barblues on April 09, 2008, 01:18:05 AM Anyone care to explain 'Mcready Levels' and 'APAT' to an ignoramus who has been away from these forums (foriiiiii?) for far too long!
Presumably the first refers to a certain well known poster, but how/why? And why are most of Tightend's posts on the hand analysis board so difficult? I looked at a recent post of his (just for old times sake, as I used to frequent that board) and my answer to the second of three questions is still, 6 hours later, @%2$ knows........ And, even worse, I disagree with with the majority answers to the other two questions. APAT- Is the Amateur Poker Association Tour which Tikay and Tighty are involved in running. Firm supporters of this association include IFM and Flushy (this is a joke) Tighty posts are deliberately tough so he has do less modding, while people contemplate what Plato would have made of the turn action. I post if I found myself in tough spots, or with multiple possible actions, or sometimes to double check. McCready levels are for vvvvtag's in the hope that their increased odds of being dealt pocket aces will overcome the skill decrepency. APAPAT was a good idea but has now reverted to a normal £20 freezeout but as the payouts are so eyewateringly top heavy and a good chunk is removed for seats it seems a little flawed.
