Post by: chrisbruce on April 14, 2008, 11:41:24 PM
I have a Dell 2407 monitor can I add a TV tuner or something so that I can double its use as a TV also?????

If not what good monitors are on the market that can also be used as a TV.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

You can.  You need a tv card for the pc, then run the tv signal (from Sky/NTL/Aerial) to the back of the computer to the card.  The tv card should come with software to watch the programs.

Also if you can't be bothered with all that, bbci is the best thing ever on the internet since the giant courgette thread.

I do this - runs sweet. You can also record TV to your hard drive for torrenting watching later.

If you don't fancy opening your computer or if using a laptop  usb solutions (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/133034) are available.
