Title: Chants of the week Post by: Colchester Kev on April 22, 2008, 09:52:23 AM From the ever excellent BBC sport website
To the tune of Michael Jackson's 'Blame it on the Boogie': "Don't blame it on Henry, Don't blame it on the injuries, Don't blame it on the referees, Blame it on Eboue!" Heard at the Emirates among the season ticketholders during the 2-0 victory over Reading. "He was awesome in the air tonight, his hair looked nice, Fernando." Liverpool fans chanting, to the tune of Abba's 'Fernando', to Torres during the 1-1 draw with Blackburn. Title: Re: Chants of the week Post by: ACE2M on April 22, 2008, 09:59:53 AM at stoke on sunday they were singing to the tune of that amarillo tune
Show me the way to aston villa, *** can't remember this bit**** It's the premiership that waits for me. Title: Re: Chants of the week Post by: kinboshi on April 22, 2008, 10:05:59 AM These are from a few weeks back:
"Let's pretend, Let's pretend, Let's pretend we've scored a goal YEAAAAAAAAH!" and "He plays on the left, he plays on the right, Mile Sterjovski makes us look alright." Derby fans sing their hearts out despite going down 6-0 to Aston Villa. "Let's all laugh at Carson, let's all laugh at Carson, la la la laa." More efforts from the ever-cheery Rams supporters. "We're gonna win 7-6, gonna win 7-6!" (and again) "You're just a fat Paris Hilton." Sung to striker Andriy Voronin at Arsenal v Liverpool in the Champions League first leg. Title: Re: Chants of the week Post by: boldie on April 22, 2008, 10:07:45 AM I love the Torres one..top class.

'Sad to report that colchester are 2-0 up at half time against west brom' greeted by a round of boos 'Don't worry they are still going down' Greeted by a huge cheer. Title: Re: Chants of the week Post by: Josedinho on April 29, 2008, 01:19:13 PM Not a chant but just read one of Mick McCarthy's quote's
Mick McCarthy was asked on Sky Sports "How far are you from a promotion winning side?". He replied "About 15 miles". Title: Re: Chants of the week Post by: Suited_Jock on April 29, 2008, 03:06:02 PM Tell all the tims you know that were manchester bound and your no we'll be having such fun in the rovers return while your singing strachan must go!! Doesn't rhyme imho and even if rangers did win the uefa cup I personally wouldn't rate it. They got humped out of the champions league then they fall into the uefa cup beat a few diddy teams and end up in the semi final. I really hope UEFA changes this soon to keep the UCL and the Uefa cup completely seperate adds to the intergrity Title: Re: Chants of the week Post by: boldie on April 29, 2008, 03:13:45 PM Not a chant but just read one of Mick McCarthy's quote's Mick McCarthy was asked on Sky Sports "How far are you from a promotion winning side?".
