As a Sheffield Wednesday fan, I personally would love them to destroy barca then destroy liverpool in the final.

LOL this is a joke, right??

I want Barca to win it.

Out of all the English teams left in it would bother me least if Liverpool won it.

Man utd have played the best football all season and nobody could argue if they go on to lift the trophy.

Not really bothered who wins as i expect both games to be some of the best football seen all season, anywhere. Chelsea and Rangers fans should look away as they won't know what sport they are watching. Goals goals goals all the way just the way football should be played.

because we all hate each other.

Its not reallly any delight in seeing an 'english' team win, tht provides no happiness to rival clubs.

Yawnathon and the form of Carrick, Rooney and Hargreaves shows why no Euro 08 for England...how Carrick ever got to be a £16m signing!!! well done that man as he would be poor in my Monday astro turf game...

Am I the only one who thinks Fergie got it right for once?

Dont get me wrong I HATE Man U with a passion, so it pains me to say this, but Fergie's downfall in Europe time and time again, when they were one of the teams who should have been in the running for the trophy every year, was his inability to not go to places and get the right result. He would just attack and get stuffed more often than not.

I think more and more in recent years boring football, away from home especially, wins ties.

He's done this tonight. Fergie's finally cottoned on.

One game is a huge sample to go by. ::)

Form is temporary, class is permanent. All 3 are world class imo.

Hargreaves is in abs incred form. Obv u havent seen any of the games lately imo.
Carrick can be a bit on/off but Man U haven't seen the best of him.

And i want anyone but Man Utd to win it, 1 time plz Barca.

Carrick world class? No way...and I havent seen the best of him? who has? invisible on the pitch aswell in England games such to the extent he doesent get picked any more, to play for Man Utd and not get picked for the England team surely proves something is a miss...

Hargreaves is a lot better...

Barca didn't have any meaningful shots on goal until Henry came on for the last 10 minutes or so.  Too much trying to walk it into the goal, and not enough shooting.  You've got to buy a ticket to win it, etc.

My Viewpoints from the game:

1) Messi was absolutely incredible in the first half. He is so much better than Ronaldo at football. But tbf Ronaldo could be 2nd best player in the world.
2) I was so happy when Ronaldo missed that penalty.
3) Barcelona are nothing like the side they were this time last year.
4) Rooney and Carrick were appalling & showed why England are so terrible v world class players, simply not as good.

lol, no he's not. Messi makes 12 runs per game...maybe not even that. Ronaldo works his socks off these days and will still come up with the goods. Ronaldo is the better player at the moment.

Er why? I will give you evens on Barca to win the tie outright, name your stake

Man U vs Chelsea in the final imo.

I think I'd sooner gets odds from a bookies if they have Barca as the underdogs rather than take evens!

The main objective when you have the first leg at home has to be not to conced an away goal. They've done that part, albeit they would have liked to get the second objective of scoring. Man U have to win the seond leg now, and there isn't a lot between these teams, especially if Ferguson picks the same team for the second leg. (whether they were forced or by choice, plus Puyol is back for Barca)

Can Man U not conced against Barca for 180mins? I dont think they can, and on that basis Man U will have to come up a top performance to win.  Don't get me wrong, I think they are very capable of doing it, but if Barca get the first goal I can see them shutting Man U out.

Barca might have to play Henry from the start, as the rest of the team seemed incapable of actually shooting.

Straight choice between Ronaldo and Messi and I'm going for the one who's averaging nearly a goal every game. Add Messi's goals and assists and you still wont get near Ronaldo's goal ratio.
