First one fold, and don't 3 bet if you don't know what you are doing when 4 bet! His hand here is combo draws or sets/2pr

Second hand, against matt in what can easily be a squeeze spot i am shoving.

Don't like the situation in the first hand one bit. There is a temptation to stack-off with your hand here because the same player caught you bluffing a minute ago, the board is a draw-heavy one, and your hand is genuine this time. However, the action tells another story. You have raised in ep and shown a lot of strength on the flop and your oppo is still 4 betting. I doubt you are ahead and it's a long-shot that you will improve enough to win on later streets.

The second hand won't knock you out if you call, and there's a lot of dead money in the pot to take on a race. He may have A-Q or A-K or with any luck 9-9/10-10. Either way I think you'd be unlucky to find yourself with the worst of it.

probably has a monster draw first hand, J 10 spades?  Whatever he has I would fold, not loving TPTK on that board

second one I would call, I think!

Oh yeah...its kinda pointless if you've been reading the updates and know exactly how it ended up.

Hand two is tough, hand one is a fold most of the time, but i understand it given the table at the time. Actually, JJ is a clear call here as he is squeezing a lot, i just hate the stack sizes for a call.

in hand one i really dont like your 3 bet to 5k more, i think you should just flat call here. Given the action i think, you can should get away from this hand, most times you are crushed and the other times youa re against a monster draw and behind percentage wise.

2nd hand is a pretty easy jam imo. Matts range is probably 77+ AJ+

First hand i pass, knowing Alex reasonably well i think he has you drawind dead(ish) or has a str/flush draw or pair/flush draw.

Very tricky spot though.

Second hand i know Matt quite well aswell, he always tries to put pressure when he senses weakness, so i think his jamming range is MASSIVE. CALL

First hand:

When the decision got back to me it was last 10k to win the 30k in the middle and i strongly fancied him to have the sort of hand he did, a hand where im ahead but hes slight percentage wise favourite. If i had more chips i would have passed. I thought Alex played the hand brilliantly, he put me to the decision for my tournament life, even though i won the hand i dont know if i played it aswell as i could have done. BTW he turned over  Js Ts.

Second Hand:

This was another one that took me ages to decide what to do, anyway after he pushed i was certain it was a squeeze but after i thought about it i really put him on aces or kings or at the very worst ak. The small blind flatting also had me worried slightly cos he was capable of flatting with aces/kings out of position. Anyway i passed small blind called. Small blind had 10s and Matt had Kings, 10 on the turn sealed Matts fate.

If your reads were as strong as you say then you couldn't have played either hand more perfectly imo.
