Title: Bonnie Tyler moment?
Post by: NoflopsHomer on May 01, 2008, 01:09:19 AM
Opponent has been tricky so far, raising a lot and not afraid to call my bets on paired board with flush or straight draws, had also valuetowned me by betting a weak two pair on the river of a board full of busted draws and owned my overpair after I checked to him.

Is it time for a hero?

I think overpairs are more likely to play the bluff catch game here, he could well have a house but its prob a missed draw. Some oppos i call here 100% some 0%

Pretty swift fold for me. Looks like QQ-AA

yeah looks like a HE player with an over pair...it's a fold for me if I don't know the player.

Heartbeat call he either shows you a flop owning kqj wrap which caught backdoor hearts on the turn or the mickey mouse 10s full. Please tell me he wasn't bad enough to river value bet aces/kings up, that really should be a check call inducer unless you've shown a real tendency to call as light as me.
