Post by: maldini32 on May 04, 2008, 04:22:23 AM
Say its been raised and re raised preflop and youve put your opponent squarley on aces would u call an all in bet if you have just 1 pair...

eg he has  Ad Ac 8h 2s and youve got something like  Td 9h 6s Kc and the flops come  Ts 3c 5h......

I'm hardly qualified to discuss Omaha hands, but -

If the board bring a ten, it puts you ahead. Any other card and you go behind even further. You need runner runner for any kind of draw. You've no possible flush draws. Your outs are pretty thin, basically. You're calling all in to hit one of the other cards in your hand and you could already easily be behind to two pairs in this situation.

Fold all day long, surely.

If he knows the guy will go broke with naked aces then he should be calling rr with any four cards, no ace.

i take it back, if he is able to go all in on the flop then you should call.

You've got 11 outs none of which give you the nuts. He has plenty of redraws against you (paired board, 4, A).

FOLD!!!!

Preferably preflop  :)

EDIT: Depends on the value of the all in. If it's only a small portion of the pot then call, otherwise fold. Don't call a reraise with 6 9 t k off suit!!!

Why are you random people giving gay responses? I didnt ask if i should play this hand....I asked if i should call an all in with a pair if i put the other guy squarely on aces.

If he's prepared to go broke with a dominated hand then he should be calling rr with any four cards, no ace.
