Belting start! I heard it was sold out but there looks likea few seats spare -would have quite fancied going too.

Freedman nearly came good early on!

Think I'll avoid the commercial tonight. Carlisle keeper has made a couple of quality saves but to be honest I think Leeds have just been outplayed/classed.

I find it reasonably amusing that Leeds had been accepting applications for the final all week with the deadline being before kick off of the return leg.

how fuckin bad are leeds?

what a load of shit, completelty lost it when the 2nd goal went in, heads went down, just keep lumping the ball up top for 35 mins, laughable, lost all their structure and shape.

dont deserve promotion based on all aspects of this performance, woefull!

A lot of Leeds fans I know say all they have done all year is lump balls up top for the big two up front to deal with.

Much work to be done in the summer. I worry that Leeds may still be finacially unstable with some of the people they have on their books for that division and crowds may drop off if they dont get up this year.

I hav'nt watched any leeds this year but in the first half they were running with the ball and playing it to feet and looked so much more dangerous than they did in the second, sad to see a team.................................theyve just scored ::)

Long balls pwn. Obv. Think it was mainly under wise that they used that tactic.

That last minute goal might just be priceless for Leeds, at least the club know the fans will still turn out in their droves even if they stay down ... while that is commendable, It does give the people running the club a false sense of security.

Will the fans tolerate another season in that league ?

At the end of the day everyone likes to watch their team win, so being in a 'false' league will help them keep attendances up. Don't be fooled by the near sell out last night (spaces in both home and away ends last night even) they average about 60% of capacity over the season. Leeds have some of the most loyal fans around - but they are few in number.

They'll still average above 20,000 in that league next year, but not many more than that.

I pretty much agree with this, altho it was definetly our worst performance in at least 5 games, it was so bad, we dont deserve to be still be in it, but we are, so imo, we are freerolling now.
