Same villain both hands (26/19)

need some history and read on villain. spewy? bluffy? loose? he looks like all three here from these hands.

Generally call the first couple of times w/o history to get a line on him.

He's repping a relatively small range if he is good. That said its a marginal decision, so a fold is prolly correct.

why raise flops? are you looking to get all in? why those particular size raises?

i think I'm ahead, so building pot/or as a second option happy enough to take it down. Not necessarily looking to get a stack in

i don't think my turn actions are consistent with this though. Probably due to an exaggerated fear of scare cards!

fold, fold

First hand as played - shrug your shoulders and fold. The reraise on the flop is pretty weak in my opinion as you will be giving players the odds to call to chase flushes (at least one of them or perhaps two could have suited broadway cards in that spot). I would raise to between $45 and $50 to define my hand better because otherwise all the players are progressivly getting better odds to call you.

If you do get called by two or three players then I check/fold

I don't think 6x or overpairs are the hands I would be worried about losing to if someone does have you beat. The flopped boat of 3's over 6's is a possibility, as I think most players would call with a set in a multiway pot (even though I dont believe they should set mine very often).

Man this is a tough spot really this whole hand. A perfect example really of why you should bet big pocket pairs aggressively. In this example you did but was unlucky to get so many callers. But people who limp to trap with big pairs and get callers find the hand difficult to play as you have post flop.

Second hand as played - I would call, but I'm curious as to why you checked the turn? Villain looks like a calling station with no idea how to size bets in these two examples, so curious to know why you think you are behind on the turn. If you are checking to induce him to lead a bet on the river, then you have achieved what you wanted so I would be making the call too. Without knowing results i think the second hand was played rather well.

Second hand I did indeed check the turn hoping he would fire the river..he did so with  Ad Qd and as the HH says I called

First hand I folded. Should have priced out the club draw on the flop I suspect.
