Title: blonde goes AWOL Post by: tikay on May 16, 2008, 02:37:18 PM The blondepoker Home Page & Forum had an outage (= crashed) this morning, from about 2am until mid-morning. We don't know the cause yet, but if we find out, we'll let you know. Our apologies. We also need to change our Server, which is creaking under increased traffic levels, & we plan to do this, hopefully, some time next week. It will mean we will be "down" for about 24 hours, whilst Bongo fiddles about under the bonnet. As soon as we know when we plan this to take place, we'll let you know. I need to change the dns etc. At this stage I'd also like to do some db optimisations for the forum which will probably take several hours. DNS should be fully propogated within 24 hours and we're back up and running. Just need to sort out details to allow access before the dns has switched - maybe use the .org interface or setup a temp sub-filter of .com That should sort it. I'll multi-Table some $20-$40 whilst doing it, jut to keep my hand in. Any questions, feel free to ask. Title: Re: blonde goes AWOL Post by: bolt pp on May 16, 2008, 03:35:16 PM A way of life?
