Title: Player Respect
Post by: Reggie on May 18, 2008, 01:16:25 PM
What's the best action for players with no respect for other players at the table?? for me personally it would be to ignore it, but a player who as no respect at the table shouldn't be given any away from the table.

do you want to know what people would do, or what they say they would do in the confines of their armchair-warrior armoury?

the armchair brigade would most likely come out with all guns blazing...........living room rules!!

At a live game I e xpect folk would just ignore it unless it came to extremes. Then some would cry, some would hit the guy and others would report it to the cardroom manager who hopefully would do something about it. If it was the cardroom manager your fecked!!

Often the best course of action (for your own sanity) is to walk away and play at another table.  Probably a coward's way out (and it certainly doesn't help the others at the table), but usually the easiest when all you're after is a nice game of poker.

To be honest, the best course of action is to ignore it and deffo not try and 'outplay' them, because you will be doing so with tinted/steaming glasses on. Wait for aces then slow roll the fuck out of them.
