I disagree tbh, i think stacks are perfect to cr button here. p.s is this a windup? Title: Re: What do I do? Post by: LeKnave on May 24, 2008, 11:59:29 AM this hand is screwed up. Was I right to risk my tournament life on the draw, bearing in mind that if I hit I would have been CL with 16 left. Title: Re: What do I do? I would have Nittily passed to the jam...v playable stack still and no need to stuff it in on the draw I am sure a better player takes a shot at the chip lead and a chance to bully to the win though, as you did. With the 16k bet then the shove, I think I'd have passed here too. If it we're just nocu and me I'd have shoved, but with the other guy being involved too I'm not happy getting it in. Playable stack? You have 12BB! The worse a player you are the faster you should call this, given the structure no-one in the world has enough of an edge to pass here. Jamming pre is deffo the optimal play though. Title: Re: What do I do? Post by: lucky_scrote on May 24, 2008, 10:11:40 PM its much easier to comment once you know the answer! Title: Re: What do I do? Post by: Robert HM on May 25, 2008, 01:25:02 AM So on balance I mucked up by not chucking it all in pre but did right to call post.
Thanks for the input folks. Title: Re: What do I do? Post by: Junior Senior on May 25, 2008, 01:31:45 PM were you checking to line up a check raise all-in to any pot sized bet? - that cold have worked. You could have just shoved on the flop but its a huge overbet (not really a problem in itself) but now the c/o has shoved following a bet its a tough one to call all your chips off especially with the BB (who has already shown strength) still to act. I would be tempted to fold here depending on how much extra you can make by laddering up a few places. if you are playing to win then its a great spot to take the chip lead and push on.
