Each week my company magazine has a load of riddles in it. If anyone is bored like me here you go:

5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching

Not a fan of the answer for no 3, but meh.

Hmm, no 2 must be Ambrosia, given the final clue and getting some of the gems.
1 could be a couple of things - Pocahontas is the only one based on a true story as opposed to a fairy tale. Lion King is the only one which has no humans in it at any point (I think).

Rex wins. Sigh at not making it last a bit longer. Pocohantas is the answer I have, for the reasons you gave.

3 is, ironically, lateral thinking: it might be being dropped from over 20 yards in the air, in which case, the answer is gravity and a moderately percussive surface.

Alternatively, I suppose, the answer is "you can't", on the basis that you hear the pin LAND, rather than drop.
