Title: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: tikay on May 22, 2008, 02:08:27 PM Tonight, you can see a world-exclusive interview with Gus Hansen, who was interviewed 2 weeks ago by Richard Orford, especially for Sky Poker's "The Club". It's less of an Interview, more of a chat really - Richard took Gus to a Golf Course, they played a round of golf, with a camera crew in tow, & just chatted as they played, sort of Tarby-Style. After the Interview had been finished, cut, & edited, Gus took a look at the finished product - & declared "that's the best Interview I have ever done". You can see it at - & only at - Channel 846, at 9.30pm tonight (21.30), on "The Club". The Interview lasts approx 25 minutes. I rarely watch TV, but I've seen this at the Studio, & it's superb. In my opinion, that is. Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: booder on May 22, 2008, 02:11:29 PM excellent.....looking forward to it

Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: boldie on May 23, 2008, 08:07:47 AM forgot to sky + it..is there a repeat on at any stage?
Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: Robert HM on May 23, 2008, 08:22:40 AM I'm sure there will be a repeat, it was well worth the watch, not like your normal interview.
Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: Miami Vic on May 23, 2008, 10:27:02 AM Hansen turned out to be a good guy, if far too talented to be a human male...we thought he might not take kindly to this kind of feature but he was a great interviewee.
It will be repeated over the next couple of weeks and there'll be extracts shown during The Open. We're hoping to do more interviews like this and are looking into sending the team who made this show (Jill and Jonathan) out to Vegas to do a similar type of thing with some of the big names at the WSOP. Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: boldie on May 23, 2008, 10:31:09 AM could you let us know the times?..I need to sky+ it at some stage.

Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: tikay on May 23, 2008, 04:56:09 PM I caught the end and it looked very very good, Is it repeated at all Tony? Hi Phil, I refer to the reply by Miami Vic, aka Lord Robson of Feltham, Staines, Datchet, & a bit of Colnbrook. He pretty much runs the Channel. & decides what does & does not get shown. He's a wonderfully athletic, young, 29 year old individual, who I love dearly. He's also my Boss........ Seriously, I shall speak to him, & ask if he may consider showing the whole thing again, quite soon - it was stunning, & revealed more about Mr Hansen than a thousand previous interviews ever did. Kudos to Jill & Jonathan, who Produced it, & Richard Orford, who, for one so abysmal at actully playing poker, delivered a terrific interview. I'm pleased for "The Club", too. It's a low budget Show, with no revenue stream to fund the 5 time a week Shows. But they've bagged some great interviews & Guests recently, & lot more are lined up, & that's before they hit Vegas come WSOP-time. Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Post by: timberman on May 25, 2008, 09:52:38 PM this was repeated last night at 12:30am, was a great interview.
I know this is no use to any 1 now, but keep a look out it is on. Title: Re: Gus Hansen - Exclusive Interview - Tonight. Has anyone read the book yet? Bit of shameless plug for the book at the end but having said that Andy Black's mockery of Gus dictafone antics in the Aussie Millions was one of the funniest things I've seen in tourney poker. |
