Title: New Car Problem
Post by: Jedwick on May 25, 2008, 04:09:19 PM
Hey guys,
I asked you lot ages ago soemthing about my car and you were alot of help, I now have a brand new problem!
I drove to Plymouth the other day from Rugby which is around 240miles, after i passed bristol my Fuel Injector light would flash on and my revs would drop down to 0 for a second before it would kick back in. Now the injector light is constantly on and the revs drop every now and then when i am cruising at 70 on the motorway, its a 1995 fiat punto and any info like the cost of repair or what the problem is or even if i can fix it myself would be appreciated,

cheers

Jed

Symptoms suggest it /could/ be a faulty Air Mass Flow Sensor.

I'd guess the part only would be between £60 and £120.

I could be wrong on both counts. Try and find a Punto forum - they'll be able to recommend a local grease monkey.

Could be a fuelling/ECU problem....
