“When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.” Title: Re: Jacob Riis Post by: madasahatstand on May 26, 2008, 07:57:08 AM Very inspirational :) Never lose your determination even when you think you are getting nowhere :) Thats what it says to me but I also pictured the elegant swan smoothing along the water with its legs going 90 to the dozen under the water. Most things take a bit of hard work even if we don't recognise it :)
