I picked the two to go through on monday and tuesday night. I was suprised last night though, i wanted 'Hoop La La' through, very entertaining imo.

I love Kate and Gin though - no not from Lost - the girl and the dog, I was cheering when they got through in the judges vote.

But this rubbish is so much tougher...........We know Britain has talent but the rest of my family loves this show. The judges are three of the most unpalatable people on the planet. Simon Cowell nuff said and the lovely Amanda Holden who I saw all over Neil Morrisey in a restaurant in Hampstead a few years ago whilst still married to somebody else........thank the lord that there are good books I have not read yet and a comfortable chair in my office at home to sit and read them in

I don't get it.  A dancing dog....and her pet.  HOW they ever made it to the final is beyond me. 

A kid who only has one routine....and gets wet.  Another lad who's bullied...singing Opera.  Cute kids.  Hard luck tales by both of them, but I'm going for the Opera kid if I had to choose.

Chicks playing electric violins.  Yeah they're grand.  They'd want to be.  They've already got gigs all over the shop.  They don't need this prize because all they needed was to be seen by the suits.  Same goes for the teen chicka singing Opera.

Nemesis?  Yeah, they're grand...but I thought Flava was miles better.  Pity the 3 judges picked the 2 rug rats instead.

The rest?  Well, if I haven't thought enough of them to include them here...imo, they were rubbish anyway.

Only ones worthy of the prize as far as I'm concerned are Signature or the wee bullied Opera singing lad.  At least then he'd be able to afford body guards.

LOL, I only meant to have £10 on him but clicked the button twice I think. Ended up with 20 @ 23.0

I was a bit pissed off because 5 mins before I placed the bet he was around 28.0 and a few mins after he was 26.0.

Cant really complain though.

It's not down to talent, it is down to popularity amongst those that would vote on these type of shows.
Is it me or did Escala look like they already knew that they had been knocked out before the result was announced?  :dontask:

What probably cost Escala is that those who are most likely to vote are the least likely to vote for four stunning females, especially if they don't have a tale of woe. I'm quite sure Simon Cowell will have them signed up pretty quickly though.

In the end I was pretty pleased for George when he got the win, you could see what it meant to him and I'm sure he has had a tough time of it. I just didn't think he was the best. I did find it very surprising that so many dance acts done so well in this throughout the competition.

I admit to sky+ing this and it was terrible.

A boy dancing under a shower to a routine he obv made up in his bedroom - wtf? Less talent than either of those young singers had.

i thought it was good show all round, at least a singer didnt win, singing shows are snash.

george may have used the same song but you can clearly see he used his own moves and not directly copied what he had seen...the group who finished 2nd had a michael jackson song, dressed like michael jackson and danced like michael jackson so how is that originality? plus i agree with Ed, a felt that a few of the acts stood as if they already knew they werent in the top 3. you'll probably see about 4 or 5 of the acts bring out their own videos/albums in the near future as well.

I think you will find that Simon Cowell has already got a percentage of the top 40 acts. I am led to believe it is part of the contract you sign to be on the programme.........what a nice man

Just read that George has Scheuermann’s disease, a spinal disorder.  Was blind in one eye for 2 months last year and it has been recommended that he doesn't dance!
