Title: 1st hour free play casinos Post by: boldie on June 02, 2008, 09:27:59 AM My email address is now finally old enough to be on spam lists (3 years so i might need to change again soon) and I'm getting a few of them "get 500$ to play with for free in our casino for the first hour and keep what you win" spam things...I have heard some people play them and are fine and others won't touch them.
Has anyone here given these things a shot? I am mainly concerned about the safety of the download, in this case with micro gaming, and the safety of information they request. (passport ID numbers) I am not tempted at all to actually play casino games online (or live for that matter) but 500$ free play for an hour is tempting enough. Title: Re: 1st hour free play casinos Post by: totalise on June 02, 2008, 09:33:43 AM i get this shit all the time, they max out your winnings at something like $200, you then have to deposit $x and give something like 20*turnover, and then they finally let you cash out. Its just a glorified deposit bonus but with a different spin.

You'll probably have to make a certain number of bets within the hour (ie, you can't just stick $500 on red on roulette), and make a profit, then have to deposit real money into your account, then lose that, then play through your winnings from the free hour a certain number of times before you'll be able to cash it out.
We don't just give money away out of the goodness of our hearts. This may be the first ever case of anti-spam on Blonde, as there's a good chance the casino is one of the ones I work for. Blah @ you scrooges! Title: Re: 1st hour free play casinos Post by: Graham C on June 02, 2008, 10:31:33 AM Can be good fun for the hour though. I never expect to win, but an hours play on the fruties or roulette for nothing is worth a bash :)

Title: Re: 1st hour free play casinos Post by: Sunday8pm on June 03, 2008, 05:16:19 AM Some of them are top class. Me and Coca made a few quid doing this not long ago. Its £200/$200 max win depending which site.
Best way we found of doing it was making the min deposit after you have won (which you always do in the free play) Then taking the whole bonus amount which will then be released and your min deposit and whack the whole $250/£250 on a roulette spread. This gets you a £250/$250 spin for £50/$50. Obviously you will lose sometimes but at least you had a large edge over the house. When you do win finally. Take the whole lot to blackjack and grind out the wagering requirements. Which usually aren't too bad... £2k+ to be made i think we worked out Title: Re: 1st hour free play casinos Post by: Swordpoker on June 03, 2008, 05:40:19 AM Unlikely to win and be able to cash out. They tend to cap how much you can bet, you have to play so many hands (turns, whatever) and you must achieve a certain amount before you are 'entitled' to anything. Good fun for an hour and it is effectively a freeroll so worth a bash imo. As long as you don't fall in love with any of the games and want to deposit.
