Title: 16 years ago today Post by: Colchester Kev on June 11, 2008, 10:11:04 AM I was at Burnley general hospital awaiting the birth of my second child ... England were playing in the Euro's and the weather was hot, the new arrival had the common decency not to begin his entrance into the world on an England match day ... fair play for that obv LOL
After a long and painful labour, (I had my thumb nearly pulled out of its socket, and the zip on my jacket got ripped off !! .. not sure how it was for his mum :D ) Sam Henry Brian Shepherd (the Henry & Brian are his Grandfathers names) made his life debut at 10.59pm on the 11th June 1992. Today, No.2 son celebrates his 16th birthday ... I am shortly setting of to pick him up from Colchester and bring him to Portsmouth for a couple of weeks, he has his last GCSE exam today.
