Yeah I torn with the season ticket offers... the option to tie three years up at 90% of last years price is appealing - but not great for cash flow. I think I'll go for the upfront then installment option to get the freeze for the next two years after this, you never know, it might save a fortune when CL football returns!

There will be tens of thousands of cost savings in the club, not sure that such a daft method is the best way to start. He has definately got a chip on his shoulder about players wages though it seems!

Like I said in a previous post I think next summer will be the one where his plans for the club become clear - until then I guess it's just waiting it out and hoping!!

I'm thinking about the summer after this one. He's had to put in a lot more cash than he was expecting to and I think that has affected how much is available this year. Having said that there was £18m for Modric so there must be some + sales!!

I get my ticket with my Dad and he's on holiday until Tuesday, the application came while he was away and has to be in before he gets back, which is a bit of a joke! I'm going to see if he want to buy them both up front and I'll have a payment plan with him - if they accept the application after the deadline. I fear my Dad's enjoyment has fallen away to the point that he won't want to commit for 3 years though...

Do you really believe the bs of him not knowing about how much debt we were in ffs there's noway he'd buy the club without knowing what the situation was it's just al bs by him imo i think he wants to come across like one of the lads with him sitting in the away end with the fans but now when it comes down to putting his money where his mouth is he isn't going to put up the funds needed to get the club back where he already expects us to be.

These things are sometimes complicated though. From what I understand there was very little due dilligence done before the purchase (as he wanted to get the Hall shares purchased quickly), even relying on the previously interested parties work that they conducted before pulling out. There is no excuse for it, but I think it did happen.

I'm prepared to wait until next summer before making my mind up on him. He has it all to do though without coming out and giving some indication on what he wants to do and how he's going to do it.

Could do with something to lift the spirits at the moment though!

I honestly don't believe that a billionaire business man who clearly isn't daft would pay £200million or whatever it was without knowing the exact amount of debt we were in if indeed this somehow is true which i'm 99.99% sure it's not then he's an absolute fookin imbosile and we should be extemely worried tha such an idiot is running our club (however this isn't the case) really he's talking out of his bumhole and it's a clear way for him to say he's not spending loadsa money on transfers cause he's cleared the club of all its debt great the fans are all delighted with his generosity.

Yeah i still think this is ludicrous.I also found it interesting to read him say he's put a £100m of his own money into the club then the next line was interest free (so he's actually putting nowt in and this is a loan) fkn gr8 thats a bunch.I dislike this man more and more as days go bye.

Obviously but he made it out lke he was putting that into the club to clear the clubs debt we still owe the money just to him now he's taking the piss am not happy at all tbh he's just a southern freddy shepherd, two peas in a pod, no good to us at all.

Three more signings this summer, a decent season, then push on next summer (as well as some of these new young signings coming through). Will see what he's made of by this time next year.

Three is nowhere near enough rooks(supposedly we're signing tiago on loan), we won't have a decent season imo unless bottom half again is decent.He's already shown what he's made of imo he has no intention of putting any of his own money into the club which is why he's looking for investors to do it for him.

Another thing thats really pissing me off is the club seems to be being run as amateur as what it was by the previous regime.Why hasn't the collocini deal been finalised?Why do we still not have the registration for gutierez,Why are fans not recieving there tickets for man u till thurs/fri when they went on public sale on monday,Why is the points system for applying for away games absolute bollox me and m8 being going to a good few away games for 3/4 years now yet we somehow only have 25 points and you needed 50 to apply for ticket(i'm guessing this is why man utd went on public sale in the 1st place)WTF.I really have lost a lot of confidence in his short reign so far,i'm sure others will come and say i shouldn't be whingin he's spent some money typical geordies .... but that just how i see it at the minute there isn't many toon fans looking forward to the new season and i assure you that's very unusual

very good point on the transfers, pretty worrying! Get those two, tiago, a warnock, and just another to let us name 7 subs! With the front 3 fit on top of that it should be enough for top 9!!

I like the thinking on away tickets but they've messed it up. Everyone should be able to apply then give the allocation to the top ones- easy! Still a better ticket office than the clubs that make fans queue for cup tickets etc.

We will get injuries and when we do we will struggle massively we have a tiny squad and the back up players aren't good enough or are unproven.Also they're buying loads of young kids such as zambleta and tozer yet they didn't even get a look in in pre-season so clearly they're nowhere near ready.All i know is similarly to last year there are to many very poor teams for us to go down and we won't come top 6 (unless our starting 11 stayed fit the whole season which as i say is not going to happen) so it will be another season of mid-table mediocrity again
