Title: How best to play turn given flop action.....
Post by: AlexMartin on June 15, 2008, 03:26:48 AM
Villain is unknown quantity as i have no history, he's 9 tabling though and seems to be fairly tight. Table is unusually passive. My image should be a bit loose passive in his eyes (if he's paying any attention). I b/3b flop as i was hoping he was a random donk overplayer who might stack off tp but then he calllsssss which really screws up my thoughts...................turn im in limbo as to whether to call or fold v an unknown.

$400nl he has 600 i have 500.

He limps utg as does button (lol) i raise 4*bb w Kc Kd from SB and UTG calls. Button folds. HU to flop.

Qd 3s 5c I lead for 1/2 pot, he raises 3* to $55 odd, i clicked it back to $110, he calls.

Turn  Jc

I check, he jams, i snap call and get shown set/QJ or i make nittastic fold? Tell me poker geni.

I don't like the min raise on the flop, I make it a bit chunkier and call the shove expecting to see AQ.
I'm not passing here.  EVER!!! I think its either AQo or AQc

seems to me he's repping the incredibly tight range of 33 or 55. knowing some of these uber tight multitabling ipoker nits he probably has it :)

Finding out where you are, cost $110

Ability to fold when you are beaten - priceless

If I have read this right villain has made a huge overbet. If hes a tag regular he always has you almost always has you beat here.
