Thankfully a phonecall to a very Fair betting system has surprised me greatly in that if he does not play the 1st round of the Open the bet will be deemed void and money refunded...... A lucky escape as I am pretty sure my local bookie would be be happy to say unlucky mate - no refund - Perhaps Jamie (Bookiebasher) can clarify the position from a bookmakers point of view but I am extremely relieved to get a refund here. Post by: mondatoo on June 18, 2008, 08:28:23 PM I'm suprised you got your money back, as far as i'm aware if you put a bet on a horse a few months in advance and it pulled out you don't get your money back (or am i wrong here) suprised its not the same with other sports betting.After typing this was thinking if you put a bet on a footballer to score and he doesn't play you get your money back so just ignore me lol
