Post by: johnbhoy76 on June 22, 2008, 11:10:06 AM the only thing you can say in his defence is that he wouldn't have picked up anymore money had he played it any other way.
maybe something previously has led him to believe that you would have a pop at the pot on the flop or turn thus allowing him to check-raise or flat call even and hopefully induce you into having another stab at it? and by the time it's got to the river he's thought that you have nothing and are not going to bet or you have now hit some sort of two pair or trips and so he's decided to just check-call on the river as he's not going to get anything out of you now OR He's just a muppet ;D |
