Can confirm it is very very very hot. Sand so hot you can't walk on it. Too hot to sunbathe without an umbrella for us white pasty Brits. Spent most of Friday in the sea trying to keep cool. Not complaining - but what the heck will it be like in July and August?? Even the locals were complaining.
Good though as when the doughnut man came round the beach with his plain or chocolate (nutella) filled doughnuts they were still warm.... ;kev; Very cheap place to stay - went with £500 and came back with almost half of it after a week. Unbelievable. And 6 1.5 litre bottles of water just over £1. Don't know that I could live there full time though. Very happy to see green fields as we flew over Kent.
