Ok im a right mobile freak, cant help it, its an addiction... but not to help my addiction, our work contracts are up, and the yearly choice is mine..
My problem, well with trying to curb my addiction with phones, the need to change them every 6 months, i have lost track of what are the good and new phones out there.

Now my current phone is a Nokia 6500 slide, I like it, bit bulky in the pocket, but my favourite ever phone was the Slim Nokia 6300 Pic attached.. The only downfall was I wanted a better camera, and also would like to be able to get on the net (not for work, just facebook gmail, hotmail, footy pages, soccermanager etc,). I have to be honest, i have a nokia fettish, only because they are easy to use (or got used to them)

Any suggestions ??

N95 obvious but good for net, gps,camera and music.

every phone I've ever had has gone tits up on me - I've got a 6500 slide as well at the moment and it keeps playing me up.  Am I just unlucky?

You need to reduce the amount of luck in your mobile phone game, obviously you're suffering from variance, and this might be due to phone selection.

I have a Nokia 6300 that I got through work...it works, it rings when people call me and beeps when I get a text message. I can call people and send messages as well, even though it does seem to take an extraordinarily long time..that might be my fault..I am sure it has a camera but don't know how to use it...I have only recently learned how to send a "businesscard"..very usefull because I don't know how to read out a telephone number .....Apparently it does other stuff as well and some people get excited over that.

It's a phone...people can call me and I can call them, that's all it needs to do..the rest is, as the kids say these days, "a load of wank".

Actually, come to think of it...Fran (Littlemiss C) had a cool phone in Nottingham a while go...she could watch movies on it and everything...that looked pretty good...don't know what it was though.

that would be the aforementioned 'iPhone'.  Only true balla's have those.

Probs gna get one of these on contract once its out, mines due for an upgrade.

Need to find out a bit more about them though first.

N95 is a nice phone, but its 2 bulky for the pocket imo, so looking for a slim phone that fits nice in the pocket on a night out..

Have a look at the new Sony Ericsson C902. Very slim with a good camera.

Mine is unrepairable apparently (Nokia 6288) .. they have offered me a Nokia 6500 slide as a replacement for the remainder of my contract.

I said yes ... good deal imo.
