I went to Monsters of Rock in 1990 when Maiden headlined (or was it '92 - blimey, can't even remember). Was pretty superb. Saw Maiden at Wembley Arena a couple of years later as well. Fantastic live. responsible news reporting gave out some information. Two fans had been crushed to death and described them as male, long hair and wearing leather jackets. Several thousand mums, including mine had a panic attack. pre-mobile phone of course so no way of checking. |
