Title: HORSE TIPS Post by: Colchester Kev on July 09, 2008, 10:09:40 AM From a reliable source ...
Info is that Cape Vale is being bet heavily in the 2.00 at Newmarket 16's into 10's and no sign of stopping ALSO 3.10 Lady Gloria worth an EW @ 28/1 Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: boldie on July 09, 2008, 10:24:26 AM 14's available on Cape Vale was 20's this morning...not out of it but it's a very open race.
It's more of a place pot have a bit of interest day for me from the look of things (but haven't checked everything properly yet) Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: steeveg on July 09, 2008, 10:54:45 AM i think cape vale is worth a bet,it is very open though,looks like the horse should never been on offer at 20/1, decent form, trainer is in fantastic form and is a specialist in these type of races, wont mind the going if it changes with the rain.
no cert but 14/1 still looks good value to me ,he should run well. lady glorias poorest race was at this course,he missed the start so he may be forgiven but she does look outclassed today i wont be backing her myself, Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: Colchester Kev on July 09, 2008, 01:23:54 PM I am on at 14's and 20's 2 x ew singles and an ew double ... free bets as i won 3 times my stake on the roulette machine in the bookies :)
Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: Pelham Boy on July 09, 2008, 01:50:21 PM I am on at 14's and 20's 2 x ew singles and an ew double ... i need these to win cos i've done my bollocks in the roulette machine. fyp Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: steeveg on July 09, 2008, 01:55:52 PM n1, gl, great charm will do well to lead all the way, hopefully cape vale will come from midfield to collar him in the final furlong
Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: Colchester Kev on July 09, 2008, 01:56:55 PM freerolling mate ... only had 2 x £2ew singles and £1 ew double ... then stuck £30 in roulette machine and cashed out £75 ... stuck a fiver on the 12.42 newcastle dog race ... that ducked.
so £45 staked £75 returned ... = Free bet and £30 for taking the trouble to nip to bookies :) Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: Rookie (Rodney) on July 09, 2008, 02:00:43 PM Backed into 9's... gogogog

Lady Gloria is hopelessly outclassed in the 3.10..the only reason 28's look OK is because she handles the ground and others might not..otherwise she'd be 15 lenghts behind this lot. Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: Colchester Kev on July 09, 2008, 02:09:29 PM Get out of it on the 3.10 LOLOLOL You're the worst tipster Ever (Yes worse than Bandit) if this 3.10 doesn't come in IMO My reliable source is a cock ldo ... Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: bolt pp on July 10, 2008, 03:25:24 PM i shouldnt have backed it really, they reported the ground as soft and said it was tacky but then it was a fast time in the race before that and i watched it and they wernt kicking up any mud or anything and that horse will not put in a performance unless its on soft ground, it was a drifter at the track as well, the grounds definently changed.

Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: boldie on July 10, 2008, 08:16:33 PM Biggest; WELL DUH! Result of the day;
Nottingham 19.55. Hala Bek (4th, and desperately unlucky, in the Derby now also with Godolphin) 7-2 beats 1-2 shot Fair Mile (A Godolphin Handicapper who was lucky enough to pick up a Listed contest) Only reason I noticed it was because I had to go out to the supermarket arrived there right before the race. RP had the nerve to tip up Fairmile as "Frankie Dettori choose it over Hala Bek". I guarantee you that at these prices NOONE in the RP office had Fairmile to win this. Gutted I didn't have the time to take out a mortgage and put the house on this. Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: bolt pp on July 10, 2008, 09:03:22 PM My attempt on this thread... I just don't think Youmzain is good enough to beat him...I am still amazed that this horse has managed to win what he has..I remember him not even being a reliable handicapper. The rest is about 10 lenghts behind the Duke. i will still back papal bull and kick myself when ask shoots clear,lol papal bull drifting all the time now 24 on exchanges , somethings up so wont be backing him now Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: Rookie (Rodney) on July 26, 2008, 04:28:33 PM I was just about to start a new thread on the King George I am prepared to take on Duke of Marmalade I think stamania is a doubt and although I expect the Duke to finnish fast i think it may struggle to get to one that gets out in front. I am taking it on with Macarthur and Lucarno. I don't see how stamina can be seen as an issue for the Duke..the only thing that can beat him here is a race that won't be truly run. He is miles better than anything else in the race, has by far the best jockey on board for these big races. IF the horse is fit he will not be denied. Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: boldie on July 26, 2008, 04:41:07 PM reckon murthagh almost threw it away..he stopped riding/whip slipped right before Papal came to him...when he started again it was class that saved the day :)
Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: steeveg on July 26, 2008, 04:48:08 PM yeah he did a seabiscuit on him,lol, glad it finished the way it did, but papal bull did well to even get into the race, it told the last few yards, still think duke would beat him on good going though,

Title: Re: HORSE TIPS Post by: boldie on July 26, 2008, 05:01:56 PM Neon Blue could go ok in the 5.20 @ York. Well if Rookie is on I can't see it win ;) interesting shout though proper course specialist..I just don't trust horses like that all that much as you never know what form they are in. Wouldn't put any one off backing it though. Steel City boy might be a big price if he stays 7F.
