It's more of a place pot have a bit of interest day for me from the look of things (but haven't checked everything properly yet)

i think cape vale is worth a bet,it is very open though,looks like the horse should never been on offer at 20/1, decent form, trainer is in fantastic form and is a specialist in these type of races, wont mind the going if it changes with the rain.
no cert but 14/1 still looks good value to me ,he should run well.

lady glorias poorest race was at this course,he missed the start so he may be forgiven but she does look outclassed today i wont be backing her myself,

i shouldnt have backed it really, they reported the ground as soft and said it was tacky but then it was a fast time in the race before that and i watched it and they wernt kicking up any mud or anything and that horse will not put in a performance unless its on soft ground, it was a drifter at the track as well, the grounds definently changed.

Duke looks a good thing but it is a competitive race today so i dont like the price of 10/11, i am trying to get 3/1 for the place papal bull.

No..Duke will hack up here and 10-11 is WAY too big in my humble opinion..the horse should be 4-6/4-7

I was just about to start a new thread on the King George I am prepared to take on Duke of Marmalade I think stamania is a doubt and although I expect the Duke to finnish fast i think it may struggle to get to one that gets out in front.

I am taking it on with Macarthur and Lucarno.

I don't see how stamina can be seen as an issue for the Duke..the only thing that can beat him here is a race that won't be truly run. He is miles better than anything else in the race, has by far the best jockey on board for these big races. IF the horse is fit he will not be denied.

i dont think theres a problem with stamina myself, its the fast pace in this going, i imagine he will be ridden 2 out  and have to respond,i think he will do this cant see him coming with a double handful,

I just don't think Youmzain is good enough to beat him...I am still amazed that this horse has managed to win what he has..I remember him not even being a reliable handicapper.

The rest is about 10 lenghts behind the Duke.

reckon murthagh almost threw it away..he stopped riding/whip slipped right before Papal came to him...when he started again it was class that saved the day :)
