Title: Poker Chips Post by: Pokerron on November 09, 2005, 01:35:37 PM I currently have a load of the pretty much standard 11.5g chips (the ones with the suits around the top) and am thinking about upgrading. I am looking for high quality proper casino grade/feel chips with numbers on, or even better, a company who provide these chips and let you personalise them.
Any ideas? Title: Re: Poker Chips Post by: Bongo on November 09, 2005, 01:40:26 PM http://www.thesportshq.com/Products.asp?CategoryID=84
They have some quite nice looking chips at a cheap price. As for custom, this place looks good: http://www.pokerchips.com They made the chips for rounders. I've wanted some from there for ages, but never bitten the bullet! Title: Re: Poker Chips Post by: AdamM on November 09, 2005, 01:45:14 PM ever looked into shipping from US sites
ASTRONOMICAL combininc chip shopping with a Vegas trip might be worth doing. many companies do free delivery to Vegas hotels I believe. Title: Re: Poker Chips Post by: Pokerron on November 09, 2005, 01:52:36 PM Cheers Bongo - The sport HQ ones are very similar to the chips i have. I would love to order form the states but the problem is shipping costs as Adam said. There must be someone in the UK that offers this ???

The sportshq do the "prettier" chips as well, don't think i've seen many other choices in the UK. Title: Re: Poker Chips Post by: matt674 on November 09, 2005, 02:00:50 PM Have to admit i bought a WSOP chip set when i was over there in July - the difference in standards and price are unbelievable to some of the things being offered in some shops. I would warn people to look into the tax side when having goods shipped over from the US, it can get a bit heavy. I had a hockey shirt shipped over recently as none of the shops over here sell coyote replica shirts - the shirt and shipping were reletively cheap compared to the prices over here but then i was charged an extra £40 in tax (approx 30-35% of the price i paid) just to bring it in through customs.
Title: Re: Poker Chips Post by: Pokerron on November 09, 2005, 02:03:30 PM Just seen the 'prettier ones', not bad at those prices, pity they only go up to $100.
Just seen what Argos are trying to pass of as WSOP Chips - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2701314.htm :D Title: Re: Poker Chips Post by: The Truth on November 09, 2005, 02:04:48 PM If you are happy to spend the cash these are THE CANINES TESTICLES
